We have installed 1800 kW of solar power capacity across multiple facilities, marking a significant step toward clean energy adoption. We have redeemed over 3000 MWh of clean, I-REC certified solar energy actively reducing our CO₂ emissions footprint.
Our assembly lines run on 100% renewable energy, with 60% of overall factory use offset through solar, efficiency upgrades, and carbon programs reinforcing our commitment to a greener future.
We have integrated Prismatic Sun Domes into our factories and warehouses imported from USA. These cutting-edge skylights harness natural sunlight, illuminating our facilities and reducing the need for artificial lighting, leading to substantial energy conservation and reducing carbon footprint.
Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) is an essential facility that ensures tour operations uphold the highest standards of environmental responsibility, safeguarding the ecosystems surrounding our facilities. We have installed in all our manufacturing plants.
All scraps generated during our production processes are diligently sent for recycling, further advancing our commitment to a circular economy.

We embrace responsible practices in steam production by employing Co-generation boilers. Through the utilization of Flu gas, a by-product of our Gas generators, we optimize steam production, minimizing waste and enhancing energy efficiency.
We are always committed to sourcing raw materials from suppliers with the same commitments as us. We are using recycled aluminum for bicycles and components wherever possible, and using recycled paper to form corrugated cartons. Our tyre factory is using reclaimed rubber to reuse in production processes, and also retreading old tyres to give it a new life.
All the factories are doing rainwater harvesting to use the recollected water in simple uses such as gardening and others.

Meghna is committed to its vision of achieving net zero carbon emission in its manufacturing processes, with the use of newer technologies that help increase renewable energy production while also reducing energy consumption in the factories. We are working on plans to build the first net zero carbon emission factory in Bangladesh, as a pilot project, before planning to implement the plans for the entire company.
As of now, we are sending our manufacturing byproducts to recycling or other factories for reprocessing. We aim to invest in ventures downstream across all our major industries to ensure sustainable use of byproducts and achieve our circular economy framework goals.
